Subaru Crosstrek Service Manual: Inspection mode Operation

Blind Spot Detection/Rear Cross Traffic Alert (DIAGNOSTICS) > Inspection Mode

OPERATION

It is possible to diagnose the DTC by performing the indicated inspection mode. After correcting the DTC, perform a necessary inspection mode and make sure that the function is resumed correctly and the DTC is recorded.

REAR RADAR COMMUNICATION ERROR BETWEEN MASTER AND SLAVE

1. Perform the Clear Memory Mode. Clear Memory Mode">

2. Read the DTC and check that the DTC is not displayed. Read Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)">

NOTE:

If the DTC is displayed on the screen, the trouble is still present. Perform the diagnosis according to DTC. After solving the DTC, repeat from step 1).

3. Start the engine and wait for 30 seconds or more.

4. Read the DTC and check that the DTC is not displayed. Read Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)">

NOTE:

If the DTC is displayed on the screen, the trouble is still present. Perform the diagnosis according to DTC. List of Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)">

3. Start the engine.

4. Perform the System Operation Check Mode «Door mirror indicator active test». System Operation Check Mode">

5. Read the DTC and check that the DTC is not displayed. Read Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)">

NOTE:

If the DTC is displayed on the screen, the trouble is still present. Perform the diagnosis according to DTC. List of Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)">
