DTC P0604 INTERNAL CONTROL MODULE RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY (RAM) ERROR
DTC DETECTING CONDITION:
Detected when two consecutive driving cycles with fault occur.
TROUBLE SYMPTOM:
TCM RAM malfunction
STEP | CHECK | YES | NO |
1.CHECK DTC.
1) Perform the Clear Memory Mode using the Subaru Select Monitor. Clear Memory Mode">
2) Read the DTC.
Is DTC P0604 displayed?
Replace the TCM. Transmission Control Module (TCM)">
Current condition is normal. Check for interference from noise, etc.
1. OUTLINE OF DIAGNOSIS
• Detect the malfunction in RAM area of the TCM.
• Judge as NG if an attempt to write to RAM area failed.
2. EXECUTION CONDITION

3. DIAGNOSTIC METHOD
If the duration of time while the following conditions are met is longer than the time indicated, judge as NG.
