VEHICLE DYNAMICS CONTROL (VDC) > General Description
CAUTION
• Wear appropriate work clothing, including a helmet, protective goggles and protective shoes when performing any work.
• Remove contamination including dirt and corrosion before removal, installation or disassembly.
• Keep the disassembled parts in order and protect them from dust and dirt.
• Before disconnecting connectors of sensors or units, be sure to disconnect the ground cable from battery.
• Before removal, installation or disassembly, be sure to clarify the failure. Avoid unnecessary removal, installation, disassembly and replacement.
• Vehicle components are extremely hot after driving. Be wary of receiving burns from heated parts.
• Be sure to tighten fasteners including bolts and nuts to the specified torque.
• Place shop jacks or rigid racks at the specified points.
• When removing, installing or replacing the VDCCM&H/U, VDCCM&H/U bracket, steering wheel or steering angle sensor, perform the following VDC setting mode.
– Model without EyeSight: VDC sensor midpoint setting mode VDC Control Module and Hydraulic Control Unit (VDCCM&H/U) > ADJUSTMENT">
– Model with EyeSight: Neutral of Steering Angle Sensor & Lateral G Sensor 0 point setting VDC Control Module and Hydraulic Control Unit (VDCCM&H/U) > ADJUSTMENT">
– Model with EyeSight: Longitudinal G sensor & lateral G sensor 0 point setting VDC Control Module and Hydraulic Control Unit (VDCCM&H/U) > ADJUSTMENT">
Welcome screen
When the door is unlocked and the
driver's door is opened, the welcome
screen will appear for a short time.
